![]() ![]() Finally, ON LINE and producing…but not 10.8 KW. I finally received my PTO after an additional 3 weeks and was excited to get my system online only, I couldn’t! The inverter uses a T-Mobile sim and we live in a rural area that has little to no T-Mobile signal preventing remote activation of my system so they had to schedule a technician out to activate it, another week before that happened. The electric provider, in my case Oncor, has 30 days to grant you the PTO after your solar company sends in the paperwork, Freedom Forever waited a week to submit mine and then only after I called to see what was delaying the process. What the salesman doesn’t tell you, among other things, is that the installation is the easy part! After the install, the electric delivery company needs you to enter into an Interconnect Agreement with them before you are granted your PTO, permission to operate, so your system just sits there while you wait. 3 months to the day, the system was installed, not too bad considering the Powerwall’s come from China and the demand is really high, (seems a lot of people are going solar). I had been shopping around and the price was the best I had found, sometimes $30K better so, I was happy with the system I was supposed to receive. The salesman sold me a 10.8 KW system and even gave me a ‘free’ extra panel and 2 Tesla Powerwall’s. I would recommend to anyone looking into purchasing a Solar System to follow this Number #1 rule, if they don’t have a local well established office, RunĮver buy a car and the salesman told you about the great gas milage and other features and after buying the car and discovering it’s not quite what you were sold, suddenly the salesman, who a few days earlier was your best friend, has no time to talk to you? Well, my experience is much the same with Freedom Forever Solar. October 11, 2022Īlso forget trying to talk to a local person, installer, technician or office manager (Red Flag), and I believe there’s a reason for that.Įxpect First Class Service from their CSR’s but beyond that keep your expectations in check. #MICROMAN FOREVER INSTALL#Was then told that a work order had been generated to install the new inverter and am now being told that the inverter hasn’t come in as of yet. First they ensured me it was only a communications issue as to why my System crashed, then after a week of trying to communicate with my system, they discovered that the inverter had in fact broke down. After not getting anymore responses from the Salesperson (Brandon) I have been given empty promise after empty promise. My system went down for inverter shortly after going operational (14 days to be exact). Expect to pay your Electricity Bill and The Loan Installment at the same time, although Freedom will reimburse you for payments made before the system is operational, problems will exist long after installation. Totally disappointed with how they respond to you after the Sale/Installation. Please, Please do not use this Solar Company (Freedom Forever). ![]()
